Fluffy French Toast
A unique French toast recipe that uses flour in the batter for extra fluffiness and texture.

Ingredients
Batter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
Other
- 12 thick slices bread
- Oil for griddle/pan
Instructions

Make batter:
- Measure flour into a large mixing bowl
- Slowly whisk in milk
- Add salt, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and sugar
- Whisk until smooth

Cook:
- Heat lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium heat
- Soak bread slices in mixture until saturated
- Cook bread on each side until golden brown
- Serve hot
Notes
- Use thick-cut bread for best results
- Bread should be slightly stale for better absorption
- Can be served with:
- Maple syrup
- Fresh berries
- Whipped cream
- Powdered sugar
- Batter can be made ahead and refrigerated
- Don’t oversoak bread or it may fall apart
- Keep cooked pieces warm in low-temperature oven while making the rest
