Frozen Margarita

A refreshing frozen cocktail that blends tequila, orange liqueur, and lime juice into a slushy consistency.

Ingredients

For Cocktail

  • 60ml tequila
  • 40ml orange liqueur (Triple Sec or Cointreau)
  • 40ml lime juice
  • 20ml agave nectar (or simple syrup)
  • Ice cubes for blending

For Garnish

  • Salt for rimming
  • Lime wedge

Instructions

  1. Prepare glass:

    • Wet the rim of a chilled margarita glass with lime
    • Dip or roll rim in a small dish of salt
  2. Make cocktail:

    • Combine tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and agave nectar in blender
    • Add enough ice to make a slushy consistency
    • Blend until smooth and slushy
  3. Serve:

    • Pour into prepared margarita glass
    • Garnish with lime wedge

Notes

  • Use 100% agave tequila for best results
  • Fresh lime juice is preferred over bottled
  • Can adjust sweetness by varying agave nectar/simple syrup
  • For proper proportions, remember: 3:2:2:1 ratio
