Mutton Masala Curry

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 800g mutton
  • 750g onions (8 medium sized)
  • 2-3 medium tomatoes
  • 4 green chillies
  • 6 tablespoons desi ghee
  • Salt to taste

Whole Spices

  • 5-6 cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 black cardamom
  • 6 black peppercorns
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 4 whole red chillies

Ground Spices

  • 3 tbsp meat masala
  • 2 tbsp red chilli powder (1 tbsp for marination + 1 tsp in gravy)
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp kasoori methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
